LISA RAPHAEL began Park Street Academy in Montclair in the summer of 1996. “I had years of experience teaching special needs kids and middle and elementary school students, and I wanted to impact young children and give them the best introduction to learning in an environment that supports academic, social, and emotional growth,” she says.
